Real Brides: Natalie Piper
Beautifully classic real bride Natalie wearing Suzanne Neville gown ‘Solitaire’.
‘The Suzanne Neville boutique was the first wedding dress shop I visited, and ‘Solitaire’ was the first dress I tried on. I had no idea what sort of wedding dress I wanted when we walked in, only that I wanted a ‘back feature’.
The wonderful Jane swiftly got me into ‘Solitaire’ and I was immediately drawn to the clean lines of the key-hole back and the unusual, counter-balancing neckline and straps. It was also made from a beautiful Italian crepe which made it lightweight and easy to move (and dance!) in which, as a petite girl, was a real bonus. Afterwards, I tried on what felt like hundreds of other dresses but nothing could compare; I couldn’t get ‘Solitaire’ out of my head and knew it was the dress for me.
Finding the perfect dress can be a challenge, but I also live in Hong Kong so I only had a limited number of trips back to the UK prior to the wedding to have my wedding dress fittings. This could have been incredibly stressful but Jane and her team were so understanding and accommodating. They moved mountains to make life as easy as possible for me on those short visits home, worked the fittings around my hectic schedule and left me in no doubt that on the day the dress would fit beautifully.
On the day, I felt so beautiful and comfortable in ‘Solitaire’. The magical corsetry made me feel so confident eating, drinking, dancing and generally running around all day. I received so may compliments on my dress and loved telling everyone I was wearing Suzanne Neville.
I feel incredibly grateful that I not only found a timeless, classic and incredibly elegant wedding dress to wear, so I cannot thank Suzanne, Jane and their team enough for making me so very happy and feel like a bazillion bucks ”
